How can we help?
Quick fixes for common questions, plus a direct line to us.
Joining and connecting
My friends can't find or join my room
- Everyone needs FrameFib on their own iPhone with Wi-Fi turned on, and should stay near the host's iPhone.
- Allow Local Network access when iOS asks. If you declined, turn it on in Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network › FrameFib.
- The host must keep FrameFib open while friends join. Scan the host's QR code or open the private invitation link.
The game says it's paused
A round pauses when a player disconnects, for example if they leave FrameFib. It continues as soon as they reopen the app. If the host leaves, everyone waits until the host returns.
The camera won't scan the QR code
Allow camera access in Settings › FrameFib › Camera, or ask the host to send the invitation link instead.
Photos and safety
Someone shared a photo I'm not comfortable with
Leave the room right away from the room menu. The host or the storyteller can restart a round, and the host can end the room for everyone. To report a problem, email us with the date and a description. Please don't attach the photo unless you have permission.
Will my photo be saved on other phones?
FrameFib never saves shared photos to anyone's photo library automatically. Other players can still take screenshots, so share only what you're comfortable showing. See the privacy policy for details.
Your data
How do I delete my game data?
Leave the room, or tap Clear Saved Game in FrameFib's Settings. Deleting the app also removes its files. There's no account to close.
Purchases
App Store purchases, refunds, and billing questions are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, or email us and we'll help where we can.
